To All Teachers and Support Staff,
Unprecedented times is an understatement for what you have faced this school year. Public education has radically change in a matter of weeks for all of us. Remote learning has been the mode of accessing public education for the last six weeks and will be for the remainder of the school year. You were given an impossible task and made it possible. You developed, planned and delivered remote learning in a matter of days, with little to no warning. You have connected with, inspired, and nurtured your students this year unlike never before. You continue to be the positive role models that all of your students, peers, community and your administrative leadership can be proud of.
I hope you all know that during these unprecedented times, our appreciation for you is through the roof. You are and have been the Super Glue that has held our whole public educational system together. This year more than any other year, you are the Super Heroes for our all of your kids, parents, administrators and community. Like all Super Heroes you need to soak in the appreciation when it showered upon you, but you also need to remember to take your cape off occasionally, relax and reflect on all the good you have and continue to do for the future of this country
I am so proud of all of you, and enjoy being a cheerleader to the greatness that is the public education that is provided to our students by our RSU 16’s Super Heroes, YOU! Even through we can’t celebrated your greatness together, please know that even socially distancing will not dampen the appreciation you receive from every remote corner of the RSU 16 educational family. You are Super Heroes and we will continue to celebrate and appreciate you through the remainder of this very challenging school year.
Sincerely,
Ken Healey and Amy Hediger
