Optimist Club Award

Congratulation to Savannah Tash, 6th grade student at Elm Street School, for receiving the Optimist Club Award for the month of December!

Savannah was selected by her grade six teachers to receive the Optimist Club Student of the Month award for December. She was chosen because she embodies the Optimist Club creed of “thinking only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best”. In addition to her continued pursuit of excellence, Savannah is a positive member of our school community and is always looking for ways to help other students achieve success. She regularly volunteers her time to work with our kindergarten students and works with our bus drivers to help mentor the younger students on the bus. Simply put, Savannah makes Elm Street School a better place for students and staff. We are proud of Savannah and all that she contributes to our community.
