As the athletic director here at Regional School Unit (RSU) 16, I enjoy seeing our students engage in school activities outside of the classroom.  Whether on an athletic field or stage, it is important for students to find passionate connections.  Athletics and co-curricular activities are part of the education for students that provide motiviation for success in school and build relationships and memories that will last a lifetime.  Often, the involvement in activities help students cement their identity in school.  We know that involvlement in athletic and co-curricular activities provides an education outside of the classroom and provides opportunities to develop character and leadership skills.
