We Are One!

As we start our second year together, please note this year’s theme is “We Are One”.  Being the superintendent of an organization that functions as a single entity is incredibly satisfying.  My observation is that team and teamwork are everything to RSU 16.  It takes every teacher, education technician, building administrator, district director, adult educator, district support staff, maintenance and custodial worker, cafeteria worker, transportation department, and the school board to work collaboratively toward the education of all the children in RSU 16.  I’m a true believer that our success is totally dependent on how well we all work as one.  So, this year, “We Are One” will be our motto. I challenge you all to join me and live “We Are One” without hesitation in the 2019-2020 school year.

We will start the year with New Teacher Orientation and then will have three workshop days for our full teaching staff. Our first student day is August 28th.

Thursday, August 22nd – New Teacher Orientation

Friday, August 23rd – 8:00-3:00: Workshop day for teachers (building principals will provide the agenda)

Monday, August 26th – 8:00-3:00: All Staff will attend Opening Day on August 26th.

The agenda for this year, Monday August 26th is listed below:
