Welcome to the new and improved Regional School Unit (RSU) #16 website!
This new website is an effort to improve communications with the three communities we serve. I ask that everyone please be patient as we roll out this communication upgrade. Let us know of any inaccurate information that may have slipped past our extensive editing and proofreading process, in order to make a more perfect form of communication to all those accessing our website. I would like to thank Karen Hill and all those countless others who have toiled over the development, creation and launching of this new website.
The superintendent’s blog section is an opportunity for us to have deliberate, honest and respectful communications with all interested parties on topics that impact the school and local communities. I would like to start my blog by engaging in a conversation about improving communications. From my 20+ years of experience in public education, despite efforts, the schools and school district are routinely criticized for not communicating well enough or more often to our parents/guardians/taxpayers, and/or stakeholders.
Well, this is an opportunity for us to seek your feedback, ideas, recommendations or suggestions on how RSU #16 can better communicate its business, budgets and events to keep our citizens informed.
