Steering Committee Updates
As stated in the September 25 meeting summary email, this email serves to provide additional data.
- Cost Drivers have been updated for the 3 school option and 2 school reconfigured option. First estimates to renovate for the 2 school reconfigured option: Total: $167,750
- Class sizes if each grade level is reduced by one teacher (2 teachers at 5th grade level). K- 15, 1st - 18, 2nd - 17, 3rd - 19, 4th - 17, 5th - 21 (reduction of 2 teachers), 6th - 20
- Potential floor plans for 2 school option showing no modular additions needed if each grade level is reduced by one teacher (2 teachers at 5th grade level).
- New estimates from EMC on heating and ventilation. Since the failed May referendum ($5 million) and a new Operation Director starting, previous quotes were revisited. MCS estimate is now: $2,470,120. ESS estimate is now: $2,753,000. PCS estimate is now $2,214,000. This totals: $7,437,120
