What is this group doing?
The Strategic Planning Team (SPT), will update the RSU 16 Strategic Plan. The SPT will create a five-year strategic plan to include, at a minimum, statements of mission and core beliefs, with identified goals and actions for meeting those goals. The SPT will engage the community and staff in the planning process, will report on its progress at a School Board meeting each month, and will present a draft plan for the School Board’s review, input, and eventual approval.  To uphold transparency, a summary email detailing agenda items from each meeting will be distributed. The School Board reserves the authority to edit, approve, and distribute the Strategic Plan.

• Focused on Team Development - getting to know our skills, strengths and how we will work together
• Brainstormed in-demand skills for the year 2030. If you have insights about what skills young adults will need in the year 2030 for their future, send Amy Hediger, ahediger@rsu16.org an email with your thoughts.
• Reviewing strategic plans to determine preferred components for RSU 16’s updated strategic plan
• RSU 16’s current strategic plan
