Elm Street School's aging boiler and heating systems
Flooding has been a common theme last school year at MCS. MCS experienced at least a half dozen water related issues. We had a pipe over the PreK room that broke this year, resulting in water flowing from the ceiling. We also experienced a burst water pipe in the sixth grade classrooms. The water flooded both rooms, resulting in floors needing to be replaced in one room and the hallway. Later, mold was discovered and therefore we had to go through the process of mitigating the mold in both rooms.
